Animate 2 Educate are delighted to be hosting their 2017 Summer Conference 'Tech on the Tyne' at BALTIC Centre for Contemporary Art, Gateshead Quayside on Friday 9th June 2017.
Coming to the North East will be some of the best speakers in the world of Primary Computing, for what is sure to be a magnificent event. Back by popular demand are the truly brilliant Lee Parkinson (@ICT_MrP), Julian Wood and Bob Harrison. They will be joined by names such as Phil Bagge (of 'Sandwich Bot' fame), Zoe Ross, Joe Dale and many many more!
In addition to this brilliant line-up of speakers, there will also be a large market hall, allowing you to view products from many of the top educational companies in the UK.
On the eve of the Conference Animate 2 Educate will once be hosting their very own TeachMeet-style event 'Talk on the Tyne - A Night of Geet Canny Teaching Ideas'. This will be held in the River Terrace of BALTIC Centre for Contemporary Art (Gateshead Quayside) on Thursday 8th June (7:00pm - 11:00pm). This is a FREE event, but places must be booked in advance. There is also a special package available that includes Talk on the Tyne, overnight accommodation and Tech on the Tyne conference.

Schools wishing to send 3 or more delegates can purchase additional tickets for just £99 extra per ticket

Stands are priced from just £249 or from just £299 you can also have a room at Jury's Inn, Gateshead Quayside (adjacent to conference venue) on the evening of Thursday 8th June and a ticket to 'Talk on the Tyne' social event (including food) on the evening of Thursday 8th June.
