Digital Badges, BrainPOP, eSchools (Lanchester EP)

Busy, but very enjoyable end to the week at Lanchester EP. Great meeting with 'Makewaves' this morning as I continue to develop our 'Digital Badges' linked to our Primary Computing curriculum. After break enjoyed welcoming BrainPOP UK to Lanchester to speak with our Year 4 pupils. This afternoon loved blogging with eSchools and my Year 5/6 pupils linked to their new topic of 'Volcanoes'. Massive fan of blogging for giving pupils a wider audience for their work and eSchools provides a simple and very effective platform for introducing pupils to blogging.
