Foldify App - 3D Shapes & Nets

Used the brilliant ‘Foldify’ app in my Maths lesson with Year 6 pupils at Lanchester EP today. Pupils designed and created a crazy character as a 2D net. These nets were then printed and pupils physically constructed their nets into 3D Shapes. Pupils loved this activity and helped with their understanding of the link between nets and 3D shapes. Also developed their ability to identify faces, edges and vertices in 3D shapes.
