Y5 - Coding Workshop

Third and final day this week at Winlaton West Lane Community Primary School. Had an amazing week developing skills in ‘Coding & Computational Thinking’. Today was the turn of Year 5. They loved using apps such as Code Karts, Lightbot and SpriteBox and also physical devices such as Rugged Robot (TTS Resources) and Sphero Mini (Sphero). These were combined with a wide range of unplugged activities for developing computational thinking. Been made so welcome by all pupils and staff this week. With thanks to Kathryn Sergison for organising. Looking forward to returning again later in the academic year.
