Twitter - Lanchester EP

When is started at Lanchester EP in 2013 one of the first things which I introduced was Twitter. Today we celebrated 8 years on Twitter! In that time our staff have tweeted over 25,000 times and we have amassed over 1,800 followers who enjoy having an insight into daily life at Lanchester EP. What is countless though are the many fabulous experiences and interactions which have come about for our pupils via Twitter. Without question it is one of the things which I am most proud of in my teaching career and I still struggle to understand those schools who are afraid to embrace the use of social media. Huge thanks to my headteacher Jane Davis for backing and supporting me when we were one of the early adopters and to everyone who has followed @LanchesterEP and has been part of our journey over these past 8 years.
