App Building Workshop - St.Agnes'

Fabulous 'App Building' workshop with Year 6 pupils at St.Agnes' Catholic Primary School (Gateshead) this morning. Used MorfoBooth so that Alan Sugar could introduce the Apprentice-style task to the pupils where their headteacher had sold of part of the school land to a new business and their task was to create an app to promote the new shop. Pupils first planned their apps and then usedAppsMe.com to create them. Really had the 'wow effect' when their app icon popped up on the home screen and they were able to explore the app that they had created. All rushing home now tonight to download on their own phones and tablets and to get their friends and family members to do likewise. Really current and engaging activity that really did bring the curriculum to life. Pupils loved it!
