Y3 Coding - Winlaton West Lane

Another great day at Winlaton West Lane Community Primary School (Gateshead). Today I was with the Year 3 pupils developing their coding skills through use of apps like Code-a-Pillar (Fisher-Price), Bee-Bot app (TTS Resources), Scratch Jr (Scratch Foundation) and Code Karts (Edoki Academy). In addition there was also a wide range of unplugged activities and resources to develop computational thinking skills. Ended the day by delivering a Computer Science - Subject Knowledge Enhancement twilight training session for staff. Looking forward to being back at Winlaton West Lane again later in the week when I will be deliver a Coding Workshop with Y5 pupils.
