Deep Dive into Primary Computing

10th November 2020

Enjoyed delivering my ‘A Deep Dive into Primary Computing’ course for the first time this evening to a cluster of schools in the Carlisle area. I’d premiered a section of this course at BETT back in January and then a series of dates had been planned in March/April to run the the full course around the North East. Unfortunately COVID put pay to those plans and those dates had to be scrapped. Tonight I delivered the course via Zoom and there was a cross-section of head teachers, senior leaders and subject coordinators in attendance. Feedback was excellent and all said that they found the content extremely useful. Whilst the focus of the session was on Computing many delegates said that the majority of the content would be really useful for subject leaders in all subjects. I’m sad that I can’t deliver this as a face-to-face course with delegates attending from different schools at present, but can now offer virtually to schools around the UK. This could be delivered for example as a staff meeting to an individual school, to subject leaders from a cluster of schools or academy trust or can be delivered one-to-one for subject leaders from an individual school. Please email for bookings and further information.
