Gingerbread Man - Come Alive Stories

Used the brilliant ‘Come Alive Stories’ app from Yellow Door with my Reception pupils at Lanchester EP today and combined this with the use of iPad telephones also. The children first listened to the story of The Gingerbread Man and then spoke into the telephone whilst moving the characters around the screen in order to retell the story. Finally they were able to listen to and watch their own animated version of the story.
