St.John’s (Walsall Wood)

Great couple of days at St.John’s CE Primary School (Walsall Wood, West Midlands). Delivered staff training sessions both last night and this evening on helping the staff to get the most out of Purple Mash from 2Simple. Last night’s session was on using Micro:Bits with Purple Mash and then tonight we did a general refresher session on using Purple Mash for both teaching Computing and across the curriculum. Been lovely to catch-up with my old uni friend (and now deputy head at St.John’s) Louisa Mills whilst at St.John’s. Hard to believe that it is 29 years ago since we started our teacher training together in Birmingham.
