ERA Awards Judge

Honoured to have been a judge for the prestigious ERA (Education Resources Awards) in Birmingham last night at the National Conference Centre. 25 years ago I did my final teaching practice at Ulverley Primary School in Solihull whilst at university in Birmingham. Quarter of a century on and I could never have imagined that I would be chosen to represent the education in judging this flagship event. I remain incredibly humbled and very proud of the opportunities that have come my way over the years. I will always be immensely thankful of Birmingham City University (UCE as it was in my day) for giving that access, route and passion for education. Proud to be an alumni and those four years in Birmingham will always hold a special place in my heart (definitely my second home). Huge thanks also to British Educational Suppliers Association (BESA) for asking me to be a judge and giving me this wonderful opportunity.
