Great day of animating with Y5/6 Sapphire class at Galley Hill Primary School (Hemel Hempstead). Using the fabulous Zu3D to create stop-motion animations linked to their current topic of 'Life Cycles'. Pupils had to first research and storyboard their animations, next they had to create their props, backgrounds, characters and stages and finally they used the software to bring their scene to life and to add titles, credits, sound effects and music. The day ended in cinema-style with everyone watching and appraising each other's animations. Looking forward to repeating this day again tomorrow with the second of the Year 5/6 classes (Amethyst).
