New Job - Birchwood Primary

Loved my first day as a member of staff at Birchwood Primary School today. Almost 30 years ago Birchwood headteacher Neil Coleman and I became good friends whilst training to become teachers at university Birmingham. Today was our first ever day as colleagues! We’ve both achieved so much in our time in education, but going to be that extra bit special working together in the coming years to help achieve great things for Birchwood. I am now contracted as ‘Digital Enrichement Leader’ at Birchwood and look forward to now working at the school every half-term and helping to develop the digital strategy of this fantastic school. After a productive first day, already so many amazing things to look forward to in the coming months. Excited for the journey ahead!
