Falla Park - Y2 & Y5

Another great day at Falla Park Community Primary School (Gateshead). ‘Coding Workshops’ today with Year 2 and Year 5 pupils. Makes me proud to be from ‘The Felling’ when I have the pleasure of working with such ‘canny bairns’. Behaviour, effort and attitude was absolutely flawless from every single pupil throughout the day! Delivered a wide range of plugged and unplugged activities for developing coding and computational thinking skills and looking at where we see and use algorithms in our everyday lives. Also delivered staff training session after school where staff were introduced to a wealth of ideas for the teaching of Computer Science from EYFS - Year 6. Back again on Friday to work with Year 6 pupils and also with staff to further enhance their Computing curriculum.
