Transforming Schools with AI and Digital Innovation

Transforming Schools with AI & Digital Innovation

I am delighted to introduce my brand-new course, taking place at seven venues across the North East during the summer term. This course has been designed to help schools harness the true potential of Artificial Intelligence and the growing range of digital tools that can be truly transformative for teaching and learning.

Artificial Intelligence is transforming the world around us, and education is no exception.

This inspiring course will help schools make the very best use of AI, alongside a wide range of powerful digital resources now available to educators.

Whether you are looking to harness the power of AI, discover innovative websites, or unlock accessibility tools that can transform learning for SEND pupils, this course will leave you energised, inspired, and ready to implement meaningful change.

This session is ideal for Headteachers, Senior Leaders, SENDCOs, Computing Subject Leaders, ECTs, and anyone passionate about using technology to enhance teaching and learning.

Why Attend?

The rise of AI has been nothing short of phenomenal. New tools and possibilities are emerging every single week, and the opportunities for schools are extraordinary.

This course will show you how AI can become your most powerful teaching partner, helping you to:

• Reduce workload
• Create engaging resources in minutes
• Bring the curriculum to life across every subject
• Provide personalised support for pupils

You will leave with practical strategies and ideas that you can implement immediately.

Dedicated SEND Support

AI has the potential to be a true game-changer for SEND learners.

A dedicated section of the course will explore how AI can help provide alternative ways for pupils to record their ideas, engage with learning, and demonstrate understanding.

You will leave with a bank of ready-to-use prompts and ideas designed to support:

• Pupils with writing difficulties
• Learners who struggle with traditional recording
• Children who benefit from visual or audio support
• Inclusive classroom practice

When used effectively, AI can transform not only learning for SEND pupils, but also the confidence and efficiency of the staff supporting them.

AI Safety, Policy & GDPR

With new technology comes responsibility.

This course will also explore best practice for safe and responsible AI use in schools, including:

• Key GDPR considerations
• Practical safeguarding guidance
• A sample AI policy you can easily adapt for your school

You will leave with the confidence to lead AI implementation safely and responsibly within your setting.

Beyond AI – Digital Tools That Bring Learning to Life

While AI is a major focus, the day will also showcase a range of brilliant apps, websites, and digital tools that can transform learning across the curriculum.

Many of the tools shared are completely free and can be implemented the very next day for immediate impact in the classroom.

Expect plenty of “I can’t wait to try that!” moments throughout the day.

Who Should Attend?

Although the digital focus naturally attracts Computing Leads, this course is about far more than Computing.

It is about making the most effective use of digital tools across every aspect of school life.

This session is particularly valuable for:

Headteachers & Senior Leaders
Discover the true impact that AI can have on workload reduction and guided support in leadership roles.

SENDCOs & Teaching Assistants
Explore a range practical tools that offer genuine support for diverse learners.

Curriculum & Computing Leads, ECTs, Teachers
