Langkey Park - Coding

Great end to the week at Langley Park Primary School (Co.Durham). Started the day with a really productive consultancy session alongside the Computing Subject Leader — a valuable opportunity to review and refresh the school’s Computing curriculum and discuss next steps for further development. For the rest of the day, I led a series of engaging Coding workshops with Reception, Year 1 and Year 2. It was fantastic to see the pupils’ enthusiasm, creativity and curiosity as they explored the world of coding! Early experiences like these are so important — they help children develop core computational thinking skills such as pattern recognition, logical reasoning and problem decomposition. These skills underpin not only coding, but confident, creative learning across the curriculum.
